How is your ActionDoll figure made?

Step-by-step from your photo to the action figure package in your hands.

1. Placing your order

First, fill out the form in the webshop and:

• Upload a high-quality portrait or full-body photo of yourself (or the person you want the figure to be of).
• Enter the name you would like on the packaging.
• Select the accessories for the figure.
• Place your order – we will only start production after this.

2. Creating the 3D model

Based on the photo, we create the base 3D model with the help of artificial intelligence. Then, we manually correct the details:

• Adjust the posture and proportions
• Clean up the file for printing
• Prepare the figure and accessories for printing

3. 3D printing

We print the figure and accessories in our Budapest workshop using premium quality resin and PLA.

• The figure is approx. 15 cm tall, a classic action figure size.
• The accessories are placed in separate compartments in the packaging (e.g., phone, laptop, car, watch).

Printing is a time-consuming process: 2–6 hours per figure.

4. Post-processing

The freshly printed parts are:

• Cleaned in isopropyl alcohol
• Post-cured with UV light
• Deburred and sanded by hand on all surfaces

This ensures a smooth, detailed appearance.

5. Hand painting

This is where the real craft happens. Every figure is hand-painted:

• Priming, coloring, detailing
• Personalized colors for face, hair, clothes, shoes
• Finally, it gets a protective varnish to stay beautiful for a long time

This step can take 3–6 hours, but the end result is guaranteed to be worth it!

6. Custom packaging

We place the finished figure in blister packaging, just like classic collectible action figures:

• The backing card is printed with custom graphics
• We include the name requested by the customer
• The figure and accessories are arranged stylishly

7. Careful packaging and shipping

Once everything is ready, the finished product is:

• Placed in protective packaging
• Carefully packed to ensure it arrives safely
• Sent to you domestically via courier service
